Richard "Dick" Ahlfors

RICHARD “DICK” AHLFORS died on July 19, 2016

Richard grew up in Eveleth, Minnesota and served in Berlin, Germany during WWII.  Shortly after leaving the service he met and married Shirley Lorraine (Heroja) Ahlfors.  The next move was to Minneapolis to attend Dunwoody Institute and he then spent many years in Waseca, including employment at E.F. Johnson Co.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley; daughters, Sally (Russ) Martin and Wendy (Daniel) Biggar; grandchildren, Alaina (Ryan) Salzman, Whitney (Alex) Windschitl, Zach (Katie Englund) Biggar, Ana (Ben) Pearson, Laura Martin and Elise Martin.

Funeral service of Christian burial was held with Pastor Paige Whitney of Grace Lutheran Church officiating.
