Derek M. Brandvold
DEREK MICHAEL BRANDVOLD, age 24 of Waterville, died on Thursday, August 27, 2015 in Waterville.
Born on December 3, 1990 in Faribault, Minnesota, he was the son of Shane
Delesha and Kristie Brandvold. He attended school in Waseca before finishing his education in Owatonna. Derek took pride in his work as a welder on vacuum insulated pipe at Chart Industries in New Prague. He could often be found out in the garage, tinkering on the car or working on various projects. He loved the outdoors, spending time with his son, Bricyn, and was always smiling.
He is survived by special friend, Alex Thompson and son, Bricyn Thompson of Owatonna; his parents, Kristie (Paul) Purfeerst of Waterville and Shane (Missy) Delesha of Morristown; step-father, Tim (Leslee) Winter of Waseca; brothers, Sage (Rhianna) Winter of Waseca and Shane Delesha Jr. of Morristown; sister, Kaylee Delesha of Morristown; step-sisters, Natalie and Haylie Purfeerst of Lonsdale; nephew, Weston and niece, Kiyanna. He is also survived by maternal grandparents, Kathy (Dan) Coplan of Leesburg, FL and Keith (Shari) Brandvold of West Concord; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Joyce Delesha of Waterville; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marlys Winter and his great grandparents.
Visitation will be held at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waterville on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 4-8 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Faribault. |
