Victoria C. Bushlack

VICTORIA CECELIA BUSHLACK, age 96 of Waseca died on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Foxdale Memory Care in Waseca.

Born on July 13, 1920 at home in Wells, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Vincent and Pelagia (Ciesielski) Dombrowski.  She graduated from Wells High School in 1938.   Victoria married Norbert A. Bushlack on September 23, 1941 at St. Casimir Church in Wells.  Together they raised five children.  She was also employed at the E.F. Johnson Co. in Waseca and Sacred Heart School.  She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, gardening, quilting, crocheting, embroidering, and fishing trips.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca, the St. Casimir Rosary Society, and was a former member of the Eagles.

She is survived by five children, LaVonne (Loren) Gerdts of Waseca, Carol (Robert) Androli of Janesville, Mary (Tom) Sonnek of Easton, George (Judy) Bushlack of Marion, IA, and Kathleen (Arnie) Kooistra of Sioux Falls, SD; 20 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norbert; five sisters; great grandson, Max Bushlack; one step great granddaughter, Larissa Androli; and granddaughter-in-law, Melissa Gerdts.

Visitation will be held at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 4-7 PM with a 6:00 PM parish prayer service and continue on Thursday, one hour before services at the church.

Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca with Father Gregory Leif officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Casimir Cemetery in Wells.
