Marjorie L. Draheim

MARJORIE LOUISE DRAHEIM, age 89 of Waseca died on Monday, October 7, 2013 at the New Richland Care Center.

Born on November 11, 1923 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Ralph and Elizabeth (Brechbeil) Bernard.   Marjorie married Harold A. Draheim on March 18, 1944 in Minneapolis.  Together they lived and farmed in Blooming Grove Township, Waseca County, Minnesota.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking, sewing, and playing bridge.  Marjorie was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca.

She is survived by two children, Rhea (Jim) Hartley of Jackson, MI and Ralph Draheim of Shakopee; one son-in-law, Duane Bock of Owatonna; four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter-Elizabeth Bock, one grandson, two sisters, and one brother.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca with Rev. Roger Haug officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery.  Visitation will held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home.
