Renee Everett

RENEE ANN EVERETT, age 67 of Owatonna, died on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the Owatonna Hospital.

Born on July 5, 1952 in Waseca, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Glen and Jeannie (Bozenski) Mittelsteadt.  Renee graduated from Waseca High School.  She was employed with Luther College and later managed the Wapsipinicon Country Club in Iowa.  Renee was strong willed and took pride in everything she did.  She had a great sense of humor and developed lifelong friendships with everyone she met.  She loved beach vacations and water aerobics.  She also enjoyed riding her Harley, “Cooter”, playing bingo, gambling and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Angela (Shawn) Behrends of Parkersburg, IA, Jerett (Lisa) Gallagher of Byron, and Erica (Corey) Anderson of Spring Grove, MN; grandchildren, Sierra Behrends (Kain), Andrew Gallagher, Megan Gallagher, Cpl. Mitchell Anderson, and Brandon Anderson; and great granddaughter, Adelynn Behrends.  She is also survived by siblings, Linda (Dave) Klemstein of Aitkin, Carla (Bill) Morhauser of Aitkin, Mark (Lori) Mittelsteadt of Hutchinson, Kelly (Kevin) Cromer of Waseca, Todd (Tina) Mittelsteadt of Waseca, and Terry Mittelsteadt of Waseca; special friend, Nick of Owatonna; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Vicki; and granddaughter, Alexis Behrends.

Visitation will be held at the Third Street Chapel of Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca on Monday, February 10, 2020 from 4-7 PM with a 6:30 PM prayer service.  Burial will be held at a later date in Parkersburg, IA.
