Delilah F. Fennert

DELILAH FENNERT, age 100 of Waldorf, went to meet her Savior on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Lake Shore Inn in Waseca.

Delilah was born in rural Waseca on March 7, 1918, the daughter of John and Martha (Joecks) Schlaak.  On October 30, 1940 she married Herb Fennert.  Delilah was a farm wife and also worked at Brown Printing Co. for over 20 years.

She is survived by her daughters and husbands, Lavonne and Duane Bartelt of Green Valley, AZ, Jeanette and Bill Waitman of Bogard, MO, Diane and Gary Jewison of Good Thunder and Joyce and Bill Oliver of Waterville.  She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her husband and siblings, Marvin Schlaak and Lucille Below.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at First Lutheran Church in Waldorf.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the church.  Burial will follow at First Lutheran Cemetery in Waldorf.
