David B. Harvey

DAVID BRIAN HARVEY, age 49 of Elysian died peacefully on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at his home in Elysian.

Born on September 5, 1969 in Farmington, Minnesota, he was the son of Albert and Shirley (Domeier) Harvey.  He grew up in Farmington and Lakeville.  David married Colleen M. Langerman on August 6, 2011 on LaJolla Beach in San Diego, California.   David was a hard working family man.  A simple man who took pride in taking care of his children and the people he loved.  He loved to golf, fish, and took pride in taking care of his home.  He also loved to grill and have BBQs with his friends and family. 

He is survived by his wife, Colleen of Elysian; children, Sophia Harvey, Jazmyn Harvey, Amanda (Connor)Harvey, and Zach (Antonia) Harvey; step-daughter, Chelsey (Richie) Venero; and three grandchildren.  He is also survived by siblings, Sheri (Steve) Martin, Gloria (Mike) Pietsch, Julie (John) Harvey, Abby (Shawn) Harvey, and Kris Pepera and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; aunts, Barb Dugas and Dottie Kozar; uncle, Jimmy Domeier; and his grandparents.

Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate David’s life on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 4-7 PM at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waterville. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
