Don E. Hodge Jr.

DON ELLIOTT HODGE JR., age 60 of rural Janesville died on Sunday, February 21, 2016 in Freedom Township, Waseca County, Minnesota.

Born on December 1, 1955 in Dallas, Texas, he was the son of Don and Edna Ruth (Langford) Hodge Sr.  He graduated from Coronado High School in California in 1973.  Don moved to Hawaii where he worked various jobs before moving to San Diego where he met his wife, Sally.  Don married Sally Marquardt on July 12, 1996 in Waseca.  He was employed at Corchran’s in Waseca from 1996 until 2001.  He was currently self-employed as a dog breeder.  Don enjoyed coaching soccer, working with computers, sailing, surfing, and family.   He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Freedom Township.

Don is survived by two children, Jake Hodge and Jessica Hodge and his former wife, Sally Marquardt all of Waldorf.  He is also survived by his mother, Edna Ruth “Sandy” Mitchell of Coronado, CA; half-brother, Kelly (Brenda) Hodge of Dallas, TX; and other extended family.   He was preceded in death by his father.
