Dorothy M. Jensen

DOROTHY MARIE JENSEN, age 92 of Waseca, died on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the Janesville Nursing Home.

Born in Burgin, KY, on February 9, 1926, Dorothy was the daughter of Thomas and Bertie (Baker) Merriman.  She went to school in Burgin before marrying Russell G.P. Jensen on March 13, 1958 in Mason City, IA.  Dorothy enjoyed shopping, playing cards and gambling, and doing crafts.

Dorothy is survived by five children, Leonna Kish of FL, Karen Fox and her partner Wayne of FL, Kindra (Tom) Hayson of MN, Thomas Mickelson of IA, and Kim (Rodney) Johnson of MN; and twelve grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers; and two sisters.

Private family services will be held.  Interment will take place at the Geneva Cemetery.
