Gladys I. Kletschka

GLADYS IRENE KLETSCHKA, age 87 of Waseca, died on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Colony Court in Waseca.

Born on April 8, 1929 in Waseca County, Minnesota, she was the daughter of William and Frieda (Neils) Deppe.  She attended school in Waseca and married William P. Kletschka on April 14, 1956.  Gladys worked for Herter’s and later the E.F. Johnson Co. in Waseca.  She enjoyed fishing, embroidery, crocheting and reading.  Gladys was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca.

She is survived by siblings, Betty Biggerstaff of Florida, Shirley Conway of Waseca, Gene (Lorraine) Deppe of Waseca and Barbara (Robert) Larson of Mound and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1995; and two brothers, Orville and Robert.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waseca.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, one hour before services at the church. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. John Lutheran Church or Hospice.
