Ilene May Kormann

ILENE MAY KORMANN, age 83 of Waseca died on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Born on February 28, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of Fred and Lillian (Tischer) Hubble.  She attended school in Maynard, MN.  Ilene married Marvin D. Kormann on July 20, 1952 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clara City.  Ilene was a day care provider for over 30 years.  She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca and had helped with Lifeline.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin of Waseca; three children, David (Veronica) Kormann; Cindy Fordham, and Carla (Mike) Pentico all of Waseca; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.   She is also survived by two sisters, Viola Loe of Maynard and Delores Buhr of Watkins; and many nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Floyd, Don, and Fred; and twin sister, Marlene Berends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca with Rev. John Omans officiating.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, one hour before services at the church.  Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
