Duane Kukuczka

DUANE JOHN KUKUCZKA, age 64 of Hollywood, FL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the family farm in rural Janesville.

Born in Waseca on June 5, 1955, Duane was the son of George and Alice (Haley) Kukuczka.  He attended Waseca High School before graduating from Bemidji State College.  He taught high school for a short time before moving to Florida.  There, he worked as a caretaker over properties and in the food industry for many years.  He spent his summers in Minnesota with his family.  Duane loved the ocean and swimming, biking and walking, kayaking, repairing computers, gardening, and landscaping.

Duane is survived by his twin sister, Diane (Dave) Brady of Prairieville, LA, as well as other siblings, Philip (Darlene) Kukuczka of Waseca, Jim Kukuczka of Janesville, Marty (Jen) Kukuczka of Phoenix, AZ, Kathy Gardner of Owatonna, Mary Broughten of Motley, Noreen Kukuczka of Sarasota, FL, Lee Kukuczka of Waseca, and Lucy Kukuczka of Owatonna; and his best friend, Mick Sullo and family of Florida.  He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ron, Bobby, and Jerry; and one sister, Winnie.
