Angela Sue Langland

ANGELA SUE LANGLAND, age 53 of Jordan, died on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the Koda Living Community in Owatonna.

Born in Antigo, Wisconsin on October 5, 1964, Angela was the daughter of John and Joan (Hodak) Stoltz.  As a child of an Air Force family, Angela moved around quite a lot as a young girl before graduating from Wilmar High School.  She later went on to continue her education to become a nursing assistant.  Angela married George A. Langland on February 8, 1986.  They later divorced.  Over the years she worked in two nursing homes and spent some time working in data radio for E.F. Johnson before finishing her career as a Slot Machine Specialist for Mystic Lake Casino.  Angela enjoyed visiting area casinos, playing cards, crafting, cross-stitch, listening to music, playing piano, and spending time with her family.  She was a former member of the Evangelical Free Church of Waseca.  Her family will fondly remember her courage and her fighting spirit.

Angela is survived by her mother, Joan Stillday of Austin; five children, Matthew (Brenda) Stoltz of Waseca, Jonathan (Renee) Stoltz of Waseca, David Langland and his significant other Laura Metz of Waite Park, Andrew (Jessica) Stoltz of Lakeville, and Rebecca Langland and her significant other Jeff Johnson of Jordan; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and six siblings, Lori Stoltz of Nashville, TN, Patricia Vanderwerf of Burnsville, Kathlene (Bob) Miller of Freemont, CA, Terri Saia Lynn of Minneapolis, Don Stoltz of Minneapolis, Jessica (Chad) Butler of Renville; three step-siblings, Larry Stillday of Fargo, ND, Randy (Marna) Stillday of Mora, and Leigh (Hollie) Stillday of Plymouth.  She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; her father; and three aunts, Norma Hodak, Patricia Ekander, and Sister Barbara Stoltz.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca.  Visitation will be held for one hour before the service at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
