Michael Matthews

MICHAEL DAVID MATTHEWS, age 63 of Waterville, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Born in Venezuela on December 5, 1951, Michael was the son of Robert Wilt and Marjorie (Rosenberg) Matthews.  Mike spent 30 years employed with the Waseca County Sherriff’s department as a jailer in Waseca County. 

Michael is survived by his wife, KLynn B. Matthews of Waterville; his mother, Marjorie R. Matthews of Pompano Beach, FL; four children, Cyra M. (Karl) Kampfmann of North Granby, CT, Mark D. Matthews of Waseca, Jeremy W. (Angela) Boyd of Waconia, and Gregory R. (Katie) Matthews of Cottage Grove; eleven grandchildren; and three siblings, Stuart R. (Candith) Matthews of Washington D.C., Anna Matthews of Salt Lake City, UT, and his twin brother, Robert J. Matthews of Cedar Rapids, IA.  He was preceded in death by his father.
