Susan M. Meyman

SUSAN MARIE MEYMAN, age 59 of Waseca died on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Owatonna Hospital.

Born on January 12, 1957 in Waseca, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Louis and Verna (Wabner) Meyman.  Susan graduated from Waseca High School in 1975 and attended Faribault Vo-Tech.  She married Richard Starkey in 1983 and they were later divorced.  Susan was employed at various places including the EF Johnson Co., Hy-Vee in Waseca, Arabian Horse Times, and Federated Insurance in Owatonna.  She most recently was employed with Beschnett & Harvey Chiropractic.   Susan enjoyed fishing, ice fishing, and being on the farm with her animals, especially the pygmy goats and donkeys.

She is survived by one daughter, Jessica Starkey of Waseca; one grandson, Cooper Hatfield; and her former husband, Richard Starkey of Freeborn.  She is also survived by one sister, Peggy (Barry) Brocker of Claremont; one brother, Jim (Jennifer) Meyman of Owatonna; sister-in-law, Mary Meyman of Waterville; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Joe Meyman.

Vistation will be held at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 4-7 PM and continue on Wednesday, one hour before services at the funeral home.
