Lyle E. Morsching

LYLE ERNEST MORSCHING, age 85 of Le Center, died on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Born on May 30, 1932, Lyle was the son of Walter and Minnie (Roemhildt) Morsching.  Growing up he attended St. Peter’s “Bell” Lutheran parochial school.  Lyle married Rose Ann Brezina at St. Peter’s “Bell” Lutheran in 1964, and four children were born to their family.  They later divorced.  Lyle enjoyed hunting, fishing, and polka music.

Lyle is survived by three children, Bill (Kelly) Morsching of St. Peter, Lisa Will of St. Peter, and Lyle Morsching of Waterville; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Florence Morsching of Chatfield, and Janet Morris of Waterville.  He was preceded in death by all of his grandparents; his parents; one daughter, Leona Morsching; one son-in-law, John Will; one great-grandson, Bently DeGraw; three brothers, Lawrence, Glen, and Vernon; and three sisters, Leona, Beatrice, and Lorraine.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at St. Peter’s “Bell” Lutheran Church in Le Sueur County.  Visitation will be held for one hour before the service at the church.
