Lester Mosher

LESTER R. MOSHER, age 72 of Waseca, died on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Born on May 11, 1943, Lester was the son of Roy and Mabel (Lusty) Mosher.  He graduated from Detroit Lakes High School before serving in the United States Army.  On November 3, 1972, Lester married Susan Minske in Brookings, South Dakota.  Lester worked at Brown Printing in Waseca for 32 years before finishing his working years at Itron in Waseca.  He enjoyed fishing and watching the Minnesota Vikings, and he was a member of the American Legion in Eagle Lake.

Lester is survived by his wife, Susan of Waseca; one son, Mitch Mosher of Waseca; four grandchildren, Cody Mosher, Haylie Mosher, Dylan Mosher, and Shelby Mogenson; five sisters, Marion (Phillip) Nelson of Ogema, Marlene (Terry) Bunnis of Ogema, Anne (Ray) Collmann of Ogema, Diane (Don) Heinrich of Detroit Lakes, and Cecile (Eden) Baer of Ogema; one brother, Ralph (Robin) Mosher of Detroit Lakes; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 4-7PM on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Strawberry Lake Mennonite Church near Ogema, Minnesota.
