Mark G. Mullenmaster

MARK G. MULLENMASTER, age 58 of Waseca died on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Koda Living Community in Owatonna.

Born on September 14, 1957 in Faribault, Minnesota, he was the son of Leo and Creta (Lonergan) Mullenmaster.  Mark graduated from Onamia High School in 1976.  He was employed for 14 years at Owatonna Manufacturing Co. and later worked at Papa Chips Restaurant in Waseca.  Most recently, Mark had worked in maintenance for the Waseca Public Schools for 17 years.   He enjoyed fishing, horseshoes, wrestling, riding bike and walking, traveling, and visiting.  Mark was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca and volunteered at the Holy Spirit Retreat Center in Janesville, Meals on Wheels, and at the Neighborhood Service Center in Waseca.

He is survived by siblings, Leo (Joanie) Mullenmaster Jr. of Edina, Colette (Elizabeth Flannery) Mullenmaster of South St. Paul, Ann Marie (David E.) Zak of Owatonna, Bill (Sandy) Mullenmaster of Stillwater, Candace (James) Cole of Rochester, Coleen (Steve) Wilker of Chanhassen, Elaine (Lloyd Hein) Mullenmaster of Sauk Rapids, Greg (Joyce) Mullenmaster of Elk River, Monica (Tim) Nelson of Faribault, Thomas (Laurie) Mullenmaster of Owatonna, Brian (Brenda) Mullenmaster of Faribault, Maurice (Terrie) Mullenmaster of Ellendale, and Scott (Birgit) Mullenmaster of Pequot Lakes; brother-in-law, Frank Schweisthal of West Carrollton, OH; and sister-in-law, Sherry Mullenmaster of MO; and many nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mary Schweisthal; one brother, Larry Mullenmaster; two nieces; and one great niece.

Visitation will be held at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 4-7 PM with a 7:00 PM parish prayer service and continue on Tuesday, one hour before services at the church.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 11:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca.  Burial will follow at St. Aiden’s Catholic Cemetery in Freeborn County, Minnesota.
