Ardice M. Neidt

ARDICE M. NEIDT, age 95 of Waseca died on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Colony Court in Waseca.

Born on August 1, 1921 in North Dakota, she was the daughter of Albert and Minnie Mundahl.   As a teenager, she moved with her family to a farm near Kenyon and she graduated from Kenyon High School.  Ardice married Dalys “Tiny” Neidt on February 23, 1947.   She had been employed with Herter’s and the E.F. Johnson Co. in Waseca.  Ardice enjoyed playing cards with friends and was an active member at Grace Lutheran Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir.

She is survived by her son, Dennis (Vicki) Neidt of Waseca; one daughter-in-law, Connie Neidt of Lakeville; four grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jeff) Linders, Michael (Heidi) Neidt, Brian Neidt and Julie Neidt; and two great grandchildren, Zoey and Alex.  She is also survived by one sister, Viola Sletten of Lakeville and other family members.   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Paul; and two siblings, Norris and Marie.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca. Visitation will be held on Saturday, one hour before services at the church. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
