Jess Paulson

JESS RICHARD PAULSON, age 47 of Waseca died on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at his home in Waseca.

Born on November 19, 1969 in Owatonna, Minnesota, he was the son of Gary and Lee Ann (Ziegler) Paulson.   Jess was shy, but growing up he enjoyed playing with the neighbor kids, raising calves and helping the neighbors with machinery.   He played trumpet in the band and graduated from Waseca High School in 1988.  For many years, Jess had worked as an arborist.   He enjoyed riding motorcycle, four wheelers and 4x4 truck hill climbing.  He also enjoyed camping and canoeing.   Jess was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca.

He is survived by his parents, Gary and Lee Ann Paulson of Waseca; daughter, Mareena Raeann Paulson of Rochester; and brother, Jody Paulson of Waseca.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca with Rev. Giles Zimmer officiating.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
