Jody Paulson

JODY R. PAULSON, age 54 of Waseca, died on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Born in Winnebago, Minnesota on April 21, 1965, Jody was the son of Gary and Lee Ann (Ziegler) Paulson.  He attended school at Hartley Elementary in Waseca and later graduated from Waseca High School.  He married Aimee Dicke on Oct. 21, 2000 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.  They later divorced.  He worked for a short time at a hospital in California before returning to Waseca.  He then worked at Truth Hardware in Owatonna, and also as a tree trimmer for Asplund Tree Service and Wrights Tree Service.  He enjoyed working on cars, playing car racing games on the computer, and music.

Jody is survived by his parents, Gary and Lee Ann Paulson of Waseca; two children, Tyler Paulson and Amalia Paulson of Waseca; and one niece, Mareena.  He was preceded in death by one brother, Jess Paulson.
