LORRAINE M. PRYOR, age 81 of Waseca died on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at her home. Born on May 19, 1932 in Waseca, Minnesota she was the daughter of Fred and Clara (Forberg) Yess. Lorraine attended school in rural Waseca County. She married Willard Born on November 25, 1951 at Trinity Lutheran Church-Wilton. She was a homemaker and worked various jobs throughout her life. Following Willard’s death, Lorraine married Clyde Pryor on September 24, 1963 in South Dakota. She was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church and the Ladies Circle for many years until its recent closing. She was also a Brownie leader for many years. Lorraine enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing cards, canning, and spending time with her grandkids, family and friends. She is survived by her children, Denise Fox and Richard Perry of Waseca, Douglas Born of Waseca, Rohnna (Brian) Blatter of Friend, NE, Laurie Whitaker and special friend, Kelly Erickson of Clearbrook, and Jolene (Jeff) Meyer of Waseca; seven step-children; six grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Lois Bauman of Waseca, Violet Sell of Waseca and Betty Blowers of Wells. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, four brothers, three sisters, two grandsons, one step-granddaughter, one step great grandson, and one niece. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca with Pastor Ron Brey officiating. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:00 PM until the time of services at the funeral home.
