Frances Vasquez

FRANCES B. VASQUEZ, age 84 of Waseca died on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at her daughter’s home in Waterville.

Born on October 4, 1934 in Andice, Texas, she was the daughter of Antonio and Guadalupe (Bracamontez) Ribera.  She married Pedro Vasquez Sr. on April 8, 1953 in Georgetown, TX.  Together they raised eight children.  They moved to Minnesota in 1978 and she was employed with Brown Printing Co. A woman who was strong in her faith, Frances also loved to cook and she enjoyed music and taught her sons to sing.   Family meant the most to her.  She loved to be around her children and grandchildren.  Family was her life.

She is survived by her children, John (Diana) Vasquez of Waupaca, WI, Pedro (Maria) Vasquez Jr. of Waupaca, WI, Mario (Mary) Vasquez of Waseca, Joe (Margie) Vasquez of Waupaca, WI, Gloria (Matthew) Morsching of Waterville, Molly (Dean) Nelson of Waupaca, WI, Diana (Kevin) Quiram of Palmer, AK and Rafael Vasquez of Waseca; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.  She is also survived by one sister, Julia (Enrique) Marin of Dilly, TX.   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Anthony; one sister; and one brother.

Visitation will be held at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 4-7 PM.
