Janet Mary Weber

JANET MARY WEBER, age 88 of Waseca died on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Colony Court.

Born in Waseca on March 26, 1930 Janet was the daughter of William and Odessa (Reed) Schmidt.  She graduated from Waseca Central High School in 1948.  On May 24, 1950 she married Marvin Weber in Waseca.  She worked at Mishek’s in Waseca for several years and later retired from Wells Fargo Bank.  She enjoyed sewing, knitting, playing cards and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca where she was active with the Ladies’ Aide.

Janet is survived by one son, Rick (Donna) Weber of Denton, MD; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean (Dale) Staley of Norfolk, VA; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother, James Schmidt.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca, with Rev. John Omans officiating.  Interment will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
