Marvin H. Weber MARVIN H. WEBER, age 87 of Waseca died on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato. Born on November 5, 1927 in Waseca, Minnesota, he was the son of Rudolph and Lydia (Kreutz) Weber. Marvin was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca. He attended school in rural Waseca County and married Janet Schmidt on May 24, 1950 in Waseca. Marvin worked in the plumbing and heating business working for Buland Plumbing and Heating in Waseca, Flom Plumbing and Heating in Owatonna and later Britton Plumbing and Heating in Waseca. He enjoyed fishing, fixing things and wood working. Marvin was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca. He is survived by his wife, Janet of Waseca; one son, Rick (Donna) Weber of Denton, MD; two grandchildren, Michele Weber and James Weber both of Denton, MD; and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Emery (Grace) Weber of Waseca; two sisters-in-law, Arlene Weber of Waseca and Jean (Dale) Staley of Norfolk, VA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Melvin. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca with Rev. John Omans officiating. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, one hour before services at the funeral home. |
