Evelyn E. Weyhrauch EVELYN E. WEYHRAUCH, age 97 of Waseca, died on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at the Lake Shore Inn in Waseca. Born on November 8, 1917 in Wilton Township, Waseca County, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Harvey R. and Rosella (Metzler) DeBord. She attended Waseca Public Schools through the 8th Grade. Evelyn married Lloyd F. Weyhrauch on December 17, 1937 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. Over the years, Evelyn worked as a telephone operator, at Birds Eye, Rindelaub’s Bakery and also at her mom’s restaurant, The Friendly Lunch in Owatonna. She enjoyed music and took pride in her immaculate home. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca. Evelyn is survived by two daughters, Joan (Dale) Vogelsang of Waseca and Sandra (Eugene) Obermeyer of Bricelyn; daughter-in-law, Myrt Weyhrauch of Rochester; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, William Bauman; husband; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Earl Killday; sister, Eleanor in infancy; daughter and son-in-law, Marlys and Dale Kauffmann; son, Darold Weyhrauch; great grandson, Ethan Weyhrauch; and great granddaughter, Rebecca Kauffmann. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca with Rev. Giles Zimmer officiating. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, one hour before services at the church. |
