LOWELL “PETE” WOBSCHALL, age 76 of Waseca died on Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Waseca. Born on April 11, 1937 in Waseca County, Minnesota he was the son of Albert and Mabel (Roesler) Wobschall. He attended school in rural Waseca County and later Janesville High School. Pete married Virginia Malecha on September 22, 1962 in Waseca. He was a lifetime tiler doing custom farm drainage. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, playing cards, watching the birds, and visiting with friends. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church-Wilton. He is survived by his wife, Virginia of Waseca; two children, Nick (Rachel) Wobschall of Waseca and Heather (Luis) Marrero of Waseca; and five grandchildren, Dylan, Derek, Megan, Maria, and Michael. He is also survived by one sister, Gladys Bauman of Waseca and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law, Marlin Bauman. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church – Wilton with Rev. Glenn Korb officiating. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church. |
